Encryption in Transit: All data transmitted between your device and our servers uses HTTPS/TLS encryption.

Meal and Nutrition Data: Retained for as long as your account is active. Access to historical data may be limited based on your subscription tier.

Cache Data: Automatically deleted after 30 days.

Access: You can view your meal history and account information within the app.
Correction: You can update your profile information and dietary settings at any time.
Account Deletion: You can delete your account and all associated data at any time through the "Delete Account" page in the app settings. Upon deletion, all your personal information, meal history, and nutrition data will be permanently removed from our systems.

6. Mobile Application Permissions

Our mobile application requests the following permissions:

Speech Recognition	Required to convert your spoken meal descriptions into text. Processing occurs on-device using native OS capabilities.

You can revoke these permissions at any time through your device settings, though this will limit the functionality of the app.

7. Children's Privacy

The Service is intended for users who are at least 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. For users in the European Economic Area, the Service is intended for users who are at least 16 years of age, or the applicable age of digital consent in your country.

12.2 Nutrition Data Accuracy

Nutrition information is sourced from the USDA FoodData Central database, Open Food Facts, and AI-assisted estimation. While we strive for accuracy, nutrition values are estimates and may vary based on actual food preparation, portion sizes, and product variations.

12.3 Voice Data Processing

When you use voice input, your speech is transcribed to text using on-device speech recognition capabilities (Apple Speech Recognition on iOS, Google Speech Recognition on Android). Only the text transcription is transmitted to our servers—we do not store or transmit audio recordings.
