Microphone Required for voice-based meal logging. Audio is transcribed to text on your device; only the text transcription is sent to our servers.
Speech Recognition Required to convert your spoken meal descriptions into text. Processing occurs on-device using native OS capabilities.

Nutrition information is sourced from the USDA FoodData Central database, Open Food Facts, and AI-assisted estimation. While we strive for accuracy, nutrition values are estimates and may vary based on actual food preparation, portion sizes, and product variations.

12.3 Voice Data Processing

When you use voice input, your speech is transcribed to text using on-device speech recognition capabilities (Apple Speech Recognition on iOS, Google Speech Recognition on Android). Only the text transcription is transmitted to our servers—we do not store or transmit audio recordings.
